Today was our first full day at the beach, and it was great! Pop made French toast and sausage patties for breakfast, then after some down time for the adults and Betsy's morning nap, we ate lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant on the island, Santa Fe's, and our cravings for fish tacos were more than satisfied. After lunch, we needed to rest up for our late afternoon bike ride! We rented bikes, one complete with Betsy's very own Kiddie Kart. She was truly entranced. The Kiddie Kart came with a helmet, so we had fun trying that on (even though she didn't actually wear it for the bike ride).
After that adventure, we ate dinner at the Black Marlin and enjoyed some delicious seafood (except for Big Momma, who doesn't eat seafood). What a great day! After a good night's rest, we'll be ready to go for Day Two!
